Authorized user tradelines
Seasoned tradelines, reported for a full four months
An authorized user tradeline is an established credit card account that adds you as an authorized user. Once the issuer reports the account, its history, age and limit appear on your file alongside your own accounts. Pinnacle keeps each line open for a four month term, double the two month norm in this market.
Availability is limited. Each card carries a fixed number of seats per statement cycle, and the purchase deadline for every line rolls forward each month with that card's statement closing date. When a cycle's seats are taken the line shows as sold out until the next cycle opens.
How it works
- Reserve a seat.
Add a line to your cart. The seat is held for twenty minutes while you check out, then pay once for the whole cart through Stripe. - We add you as an authorized user.
Immediately after payment you receive an email with a secure, single-use link to a short form for the four details the issuer requires. Nothing is submitted to a card until that form is received and verified. - The line reports.
The issuer reports the account after the next statement closing date. The first reporting window for each line is shown on its card once confirmed. - The line ages off at the end of the term.
You remain an authorized user for four months. At the end of the term the authorized user is removed unless you renew. Renewal for a further four month term is offered at 35 percent off the listed price.
Exact dates for your line are confirmed by email after purchase. Reservations close three days before each card’s closing date; inside that window the line shows the following cycle’s date instead.

What this service does and does not do
- Being added as an authorized user does not guarantee any specific credit score increase. Results vary by individual credit profile.
- The primary cardholder retains full control of the account and may remove the authorized user or close the account at any time without notice.
- Tradelines are added and remain active for a four month term before removal, unless renewed.
- Timing is tied to the card statement closing date. A reservation placed close to a closing date may report a cycle later than expected.
- This service is separate from Pinnacle forensic dispute and FCRA work. It is not credit repair, legal advice, or financial advice.
- FICO states that recent versions of its score give authorized user accounts less impact than primary accounts. Lenders may treat authorized user history differently from your own.
- Purchases are non-refundable once the authorized user addition has been submitted and the five day cancellation window has passed, except where the line does not post within two reporting cycles, the account closes or removes you early, or the account reports a late payment or utilization above 5 percent. The refund policy states the remedy in each case.

Questions
What is an authorized user tradeline?
It is an existing credit card account on which the primary cardholder adds you as an authorized user. Most issuers then report the account on your credit file, including its opening date, credit limit and payment history. You do not receive a card and cannot spend on the account.
How long does the line stay on my file?
Pinnacle keeps you on the account for a four month term. The industry norm is about two months. After removal, bureaus typically stop reporting the account on your file within one or two cycles, although timing varies by bureau.
When will the line show up?
Reporting follows the card's statement closing date, which is the purchase deadline shown on each line. The issuer reports after that date and the bureaus update afterward. The account typically appears within three to ten calendar days after the closing date. A reservation placed near a closing date may report one cycle later.
Will this raise my credit score?
We do not promise any score outcome. An authorized user account adds history to your file, and how any scoring model treats that history depends on your full profile. FICO states that recent versions of its score give authorized user accounts less impact than primary accounts.
Is this the same as Pinnacle's credit repair work?
No. Tradelines are a separate service. They do not dispute, correct or remove anything on your file, and they are not part of any Pinnacle engagement. Pinnacle's forensic FCRA work is described on the engagements page.
What information do you need from me?
Issuers require the authorized user's full legal name, date of birth and address, and some require the last four digits of a Social Security number. You supply these through a secure, single-use link emailed immediately after payment, never on this page or in the cart, and they are encrypted when stored and purged 30 days after the cardholder has submitted the addition to the issuer.
