ACAT (Automatic Credit Analytic Technologies)
ACAT (Automatic Credit Analytic Technologies) is Pinnacle Credit Repair's proprietary analysis engine. It reviews every tradeline across all three credit reports for Metro 2 inconsistencies and FCRA accuracy problems and flags disputable items. ACAT performs the forensic analysis; Pinnacle's specialists then draft each dispute individually.
Why it matters in credit repair
ACAT is the foundation of Pinnacle's forensic method: rather than disputing at random, it maps exactly where reporting falls short of the FCRA's standards across all three bureaus, so disputes are evidence-based and prioritized by leverage.
How it appears on a credit report
ACAT is an analytical work product, not a credit-report field. Its output is delivered to clients as the Dispute Resolution Action Plan (DRAP), a nine-section forensic dossier.
Example
ACAT flags a charge-off reporting three different balances across bureaus, a re-aged date of first delinquency, and a discharged-bankruptcy account still showing a balance — a prioritized dispute roadmap.
Common misunderstanding
ACAT is sometimes described as "AI that auto-disputes" or that "bypasses" the FCRA timeline. Neither is accurate: ACAT analyzes, humans draft every dispute, and no service can bypass the bureaus' statutory reinvestigation period.
